Linlithgow Scout Post 2018

Following on from last year's successful Christmas Post in Linlithgow, the Scouts are back again to provide this invaluable service to our local community.

Last year we delivered more than 9,600 cards which was an all time high for us and we're hoping that with your help and support we can top that total this time around.

This is what you do
  1. Address your envelopes as you would normally - no stamp required.
  2. Drop off your cards and the 25 pence donation per card at one of the local collection points listed on the right between 1st & 15th December.
  3. Please note that we are only able to accept Christmas cards for delivery and we are only able to cover the EH49 postal district.
Want to know more?

For those of you who aren't aware what a Scout Post is, it is a service provided by Scouts at Christmas time to deliver Christmas cards for a nominal charge.

The postal area we will be covering is the EH49 post code which as well as Linlithgow includes Blackness, Bridgend, Philpstoun, Threemiletown and Whitecross.

From Saturday 1st through to Saturday 15th December you will be able to drop your Christmas cards off at nominated collection points around town (see list in the top right of this web page) and pay 25p per card for the use of this service.

Your Christmas Cards will be collected and sorted by our Scouts and volunteers. These will then be delivered by the Scouts during the weekends of the 2nd, 9th & 17th December.

Thanks go out to everybody who has helped make this happen including the Scouts, volunteers and local businesses. Along with spreading the good word about Scouting we hope that it will generate some much needed money for the funds.
